The 2011 Homeless Count
On January 27, 2011, TCHC conducted a census and survey of
all unsheltered and sheltered homeless individuals within
Tarrant and Parker Counties. Having an accurate account of people
experiencing homelessness is not only important for the numerous
agencies that serve people experiencing homelessness, it is
important to the community as a whole in understanding the
intricacies of homelessness in our area, and how we can eventually
end a person's homelessness in Tarrant and Parker
