Mission Statement
TCHC's mission is to provide leadership in the prevention and
eradication of homelessness in Tarrant County.
One of TCHC's main goals is to bring organizations together who
work with homelessness and poverty in Tarrant County. TCHC plays a
vital role as lead agency for the Continuum of Care for the
homeless in our community.
Together, TCHC:
- Provides strategic planning, coordination, and interagency
communication and collaboration to improve services for the
homeless
- Provides the community expert knowledge and information on the
condition, extent, and status of homelessness in Tarrant
County
- Partners in the facilitation in the development of new
permanent supportive housing
- Provides extensive training and support for nearly 100 homeless
service provider agencies and 450 human services case managers,
social workers, and staff
