The following helpful resoures have been grouped for landlords in Tarrant County.  They provide useful information and reference material for working with tenants that may need assistance.

Some of the forms provided are in Adobe PDF format and require the free Adobe Reader.  If not installed already, this can be downloaded for free from the Adobe website.

New Owner Resources

• Supportive Housing Presentation - a very informative presentation by Susan Cockrell, Fort Worth Housing Administrator for Special Programs.  This comprehensive presentation is in Adobe PDF format and outlines the many housing options in Tarrant County.  It also highlights important factors for landlords and includes key metrics about potential tenants and how to best work with the Special Programs available in Tarrant County.

• Orientation Information - This concise document outlines the steps necessary to register as a landlord with the Fort Worth Housing Authority.  You can either download the document or review the quick and easy steps.

  • The easy way to register with the Fort Worth Housing Authority:
    • Go to http://www.ftwha.org/
    • Select "Landlord and Property Owners" from the left-side menu.
    • Select "Request for Participation".
    • Complete the form and submit your information.

Add Properties

If you are a landlord who has already completed the Landlord Orientation with the Fort Worth Housing Authority and you wish to add a new property online, please follow this link to the Go Section 8 website.

There you will be able to enter information directly to the listing service.  A list will be generated and sent to the Housing Specialist to update your property listing on the Tarrant County Homeless Coalition's website as well.

If you are a landlord who has already completed the Landlord Orientation with the Fort Worth Housing Authority and you wish to add a new property listing for Go Section 8 by fax, please use this form to send your information.  Fax the completed form to (817) 877-3576.

Once your information is entered into the Go Section 8 website, a list will be generated and sent to the Housing Specialist to update your property listing on the Tarrant County Homeless Coalition's website as well.
